Treemoss absolute

This tree moss is a lichen that grows on the bark of firs and pines. The lichen is rather sensitive to air pollution, its presence usually indicating the good air conditions in the growing place. In ancient Egypt it was also found packed into mummies.
The raw material for this product is made from an hexane extraction of the moss giving a concrete, then the absolute is obtained by extrating the concrete with ethanol. The moss used is Pseudevernia furfuracea & usnea barbata.
