Major Series Updates
2025 introduction of a new Pediatric Baseline Series (PD-1000)
In a significant stride towards advancing dermatological research and enhancing patient care, the North American Series (NA-1000 and NAC-80) used for baseline patch testing have undergone major updates.
The 2024 version of the series introduces a new format of placing all non-liquid haptens in alphabetical order by article number. The 10 liquid haptens are all placed on a single Patch Test Unit to facilitate application.
Please consult the 2024 Catalogue Amendments for specific deletions and additions. The North American Extended (NAE-65) series is no longer available.
Pediatric Baseline Series (PD-1000, 40 haptens)
February 1st 2025: New Pediatric Baseline Series PD-1000 specifically designed for children aged 6–18 years. This series is based on expert recommendations and aims to address the unique needs of diagnosing allergic contact dermatitis (ACD) in the pediatric population. The haptens selected for this series are grounded in clinical relevance and prevalence, ensuring optimal diagnostic outcomes and includes 40 core haptens most commonly associated with pediatric ACD.
North American 80 Comprehensive Series (NAC-80, 80 haptens)
For 2024, 22 haptens have been replaced in the North American Comprehensive NAC-80 series with haptens that are showing increased potential for diagnosing patient reaction.
North American Baseline Series (NA-1000, 60 haptens)
For 2024, North American Baseline NA-1000 series, 10 haptens have been replaced and an additional 10 have been added making a total of 60 haptens in this series.
